Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] This is a very brief history of Salvadoran literature of the twentieth century, starting with Salvador Salazar Arrué until reaching Roque Dalton. Successively, the theories of Héctor Leyva and Beatriz Cortés on the "aesthetics of cynicism" whose main authors are Jacinta Escudos and Horacio Castellanos Moya are exposed.
