Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] How does the family lexicon contribute to the making of a family film? Is it possible to trace the idioms of the family translated into images into the video clip? On the one hand, in fact, the fragmentary nature of amateur films induces family members, once assembled, to take a retrospective view of their filmed history. On the other hand, a similar structure, similar to diary writing, gives space to each participant to contribute personally - in terms of bodily presence, social role, affective afflusion - to the final rendering of the film. The hypothesis of the work is therefore to study the affinities between the language (verbal and non-verbal) encoded within the family context and the peculiar language of private film.
