Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The cultural pluralism of today's society provides stable, mobile, precarious, differentiated family forms, of which the recomposed families are emblems. It is therefore important to deal with them, both for the peculiarities they introduce, and for their quantitative incidence that they gradually assume in our socio-cultural context. In this chapter we will deal with the theme of recomposed families starting from the name with which we designate these families, to then reflect on the structural and dynamic characteristics they present, highlighting not only what characterizes them, but also and above all what makes them rightly belonging to the "Familiar" of our historical time. The now widely available international literature will allow us to offer a summary of the knowledge acquired to date, as well as to outline its peculiarities and specificities. A clinical case will exemplify the characteristics of the clinical encounter with family recomposition.
