Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution traces the brief history of the German-language weekly Der Bote vom Gardasee, published on the Brescia shore of Lake Garda from 1900 to 1914, a unique and interesting document both to reconstruct a little-known piece of the history of cultural relations between the German world and the Italian before the First World War and to write a new chapter in the history of German tourism in Italy.
