Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution proposes a theoretical-conceptual analysis of the term illiberal democracy, through a reference to the anti-liberal traditions of the past and to the theories of democracy of some important thinkers of the twentieth century, with reference also to the use made of it in the current debate European audience.
