Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume Democracy is pedagogy. Brescia: participatory planning laboratory, attests to the care and depth of the relationship between training and administrative responsibility in the context of the teaching work carried out within the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. Pedagogical planning, in the pursuit of the common good, identifies the professionalism of the pedagogist, who must be capable of developing a synthesis between different approaches and heterogeneous knowledge, of offering expert and distinctive consultancy to connect plural skills and enter, potentially with each one, into a fruitful dialogue. The pedagogist embodies a "political" professionalism, as it is inextricably connected with the responsibilities of citizenship and the common good. The activity of pedagogical planning and the identity process of "becoming a pedagogist" become a democratic practice as effectively outlined by the didactic action of Emilio Del Bono in dialogue with Antonio Molinari, whose reflection identifies some emblematic references and places for a political pedagogy inspired by fraternity.
