Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay reflects on the method of social theater that is used in mental health services as a process of psychosocial rehabilitation, in the light of a new culture of health and of the subject that sees in cultural practice one of the most significant forms of resilience for the subject, both as an individual and as a collective. Moving in this light, social theater produces extended but localized modes of participation, which promote a widespread and non-specialized exercise of the various cultural functions, bringing the theatrical experience back to its anthropological roots capable of responding more quickly to complex evolutionary needs of the subjects.
