Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] After an introduction to the definition of Chapel after the Council of Trent, which referred to medieval liturgical manuals and Decretal texts, the article examines the problems inherent in the erection and endowment of the chapels, with references to construction costs and maintenance. Comparison between beggars and Carthusians. The former strengthen the erection of chapels in their churches, while the latter forbid it. Private altars and the exaltation of noble families are also studied, but also that of the Virgin.
