Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Reconnaissance on the epic genre in Spanish Lombardy of the seventeenth century. First the general characteristics are highlighted, in relation to the great sixteenth-century models, then some of the most significant poems are analyzed: The "Armidoro" by Guovanni Soranzo, "The fall of the Lombards" by Sigismondo Boldoni, "I numi guerrieri" by Carlo Torre, "Federico aka Lodi rebuilt" by Filiberto Villani.
