[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution analyzes a section of Giovanni Boccaccio's autographed paper Zibaldone (Florence, BNC, Banco rari 50), where the Certaldese transcribed his own version of Aitone Armeno's Flos historiarum Orientis, renewing the style on a syntactic and lexical level to make the Latin prose of the Treaty on Oriental Peoples.
