Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the present study, we will analyze how Santos Febres elaborates the representation of the body to construct the discourse of empowerment and self-affirmation of women in Anamú y Manigua, her first collection of poems published in 1991. In particular, we will highlight the importance of sharing the experiences and their assessment as axes in the configuration of the identity of the Puerto Rican and Afro-Caribbean woman that Santos Febres proposes to the reader.
