Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] An impressionistic sensibility is detected in the oldest poems of Ossi di seppia (1925), influenced by the music of Claude Debussy. This first way, theorized in the poet's diary in the year 1917, is soon abandoned in the search for a more narrative style, with a more complex logical articulation. From the marine poems of the twenties, one observes some sort of brief paintings which distance Impressionist inspiration, associating it with a paradisiacal and illusory vision, just as they express the taking of leave in relation to symbolist poetry.
