Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] To be able to regulate the digital society, the law must cross traditional limits: to this end, the contribution analyzes how technologies are changing and expanding its borders through the phenomenon of big data. Specifically, the most relevant legal problems and the balance between the protection of personal data and other interests are examined, through the analysis of the new European regulation on privacy and its ability to affect and regulate the technological evolution of big data.
