Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The birth of a new magazine is always a particularly important scientific event. It is even more so if the magazine is promoted by a new scientific association, in this case the Italian Association of Agricultural and Applied Economics (Aieaa), founded only a year ago. For its international projection and for its scientific ambitions Bio-based and applied economics (BAE) is in English, as befits high-level scientific journals that aspire to enter the Gotha of scientific publications.
