Abstract

The article offers a sketch of the main components of Eric Voegelin's opus magnum Order and History, and it is a sort of simple introduction to its Italian edition. Cultural phaenomena cauld be better judged and compared starting from a global anthropological view, which doesn't withdraw from the distinctive characters of human nature as such, and from the facticity of its historical emergence.
