Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The chapter presents the analysis of the forms of extended families that have emerged in the social reality, that is, for example, family communities and cohousing. This is still a residual phenomenon in our country, although emblematic of the pluralization that characterizes the contemporary family. The contribution briefly traces the history of family communities and illustrates their dimensions at European, as well as Italian, level, leading to clarifying their relational features (concretely visible, for example, in the relationship between adults and children living in these communities)
