[Autom. eng. transl.] The place where the negative appears is undeniable, even in the faded form of simple appearing and disappearing, that is the unity of experience that attests to the indissoluble relationship between feeling and felt. No subject is a foundation in itself. It is from this evidence that the path of reflection begins. In ancient times the place, even physical, in which the real contradiction was staged was the tragic representation: tragic tale of a tragic event, in which the negative entered the original constitution of every subjectivity. Then the new stories of Plato and Aristotle told this unthinkable beginning: knowledge is born from the unexpected, from the uncanny, in which the philosopher also encounters not knowing, not only what is, but also what fluctuates and disorients. From this deep place in which subjectivity is rooted, the movement of transcending begins.
