Dalla solitudine alla prossimità. L’esperienza dei custodi sociali a Milano

[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume presents the action research activities carried out in the five-year period 2007-2011, as part of the project for the evaluation and monitoring of the Social Guardian Service of the Municipality of Milan, carried out by operators engaged in the direct provision of care services to residents of housing housing public residential of the Metropolitan City, in synergy with the entire network of services present in the local community, (family social services, adults, elderly, clinics, diagnostic centers, counseling centers, employment centers, etc.). The results achieved offer useful knowledge and indications for those responsible for organizing territorial welfare in individual contexts, according to a logic of public-private partnership, of activation of formal and informal aid networks, of closeness to people and groups most to risk of isolation and social exclusion.
