Abstract

Administrative documents and architectural drawings help to understand the constructive events of the rooms that hosted the Borromeo collection and the academies in differente stages. The constitution of the museum was accompanied by important and symbolic artistic inventions, such as the palm tree and the series of Sybils. The Cardinal also designed a mobile planetarium with the help of Fabio Mangone.
