Abstract
Philosophical thought is not opposed to technique or technology, rather technology realizes its products just starting from thought and asks new questions to philosophical reflection. In a way technology returns to its starting point. To understand this complex movement, it is necessary to follow a historical track, that makes clear the difference between the classical conception and the modern conception about the technique. So we can see that technological developments lead to the overcoming of the approach from which they have originated. In conclusion technology is an integral and qualifying part of human culture, because not only technology makes the world more accessible and adapts it to human needs, but to a certain extent transforms man himself too.
