Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Through a reading of the texts of Peter the Venerable, in particular the letters, it is evident that charity, a vital principle that embraces everything, is also a fundamental principle of friendship. Friendship turns out to be a privileged form of cartà for Pietro: he unites friends more closely to God, linking them to each other through mutual intimacy.
