[Autom. eng. transl.] The article investigates the bibliographical and historiographical aspects of research production around the regular canonical Antonians, starting from what he wrote in the 16th century Aymar Falco and continuing for the writings of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, up to the great production of the French Positivism age , when the search for sources became a priority. A particular place deserves then the studies in the mid-twentieth century by Adalbert Mischlewski and Italo Ruffino, up to the very recent interventions by Laura Fenelli and Alessandra Foscati.
