Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The aim of the contribution is the investigation of the dialectical relationship, and therefore also problematic, between man and food, understood as a fundamental constituent of the European anthropological universal (but not only). The tension between two main poles is therefore probed: 1) the generation of the anthropological thanks to the theological; 2) the critique of reason to religion. More in detail, the chapter focuses on the modern relationship between man and food, often understood as its simple destruction and therefore on the inability to make it a means of expression for love and care of oneself and of one's neighbor, as evident in the new taboos and eating disorders.
