[Autom. eng. transl.] In the coming years, Valle Sabbia, in order to continue to think of itself in terms of a 'system', characterized by increasing levels of sustainability, will have to consolidate its ability to promote an overall vision of the territory and its future. The volume represents a 'choral' contribution offered by the authors interviewed, attentive and sensitive connoisseurs of the valley, with the aim of stimulating wide-ranging reflections, sometimes suggesting research trajectories, sometimes ambitious challenges. The Ferriera Valsabbia ETS Foundation, a recently established reality, thus intends to open, ideally, a debate on the role of the territory in its current implications, proposing itself as an 'engine' of high-profile and, above all, long-term cultural initiatives.
