Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The literature makes it possible to attribute a new meaning to the clinical, revealing the potentialities that its signifiers acquire in times and social groups in evolution. In the present study I propose the analysis of the metaphorical function played by the concepts of body (in its sense of social body) and ritual healing in Rescue Distance by Samanta Schweblin. The objective is to study how these
elements contribute to contextualize the environmental complaint of agrochemicals proposed by the author.
