Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] With reference to a recent publication relating to the links between the contents of the "Derveni Papyrus" and the thought of the Pre-Socratics, Plato and Aristotle, questions of the boundaries and method of the "history of ancient philosophy" as a discipline are raised, which intertwines in fact, in the texts he deals with, with a multiplicity of different skills and knowledge, which do not belong only to philology or papyrology, but above all to the history of sciences (exact and of man) and of religions.
