Abstract

The current environmental challenges, in line with national and international policies, call for the promotion of a fair and inclusive ecological transition, attentive to inequalities and social vulnerabilities for a genuine sustainable development. Recognizing the leading role that young people, women, communities and territories play in responding to the climate crisis from a systemic and integral perception, means working to ensure them the possibility to perform an active, socially-aware function. In this perspective, the business environment represents an emblematic place to endorse best practices steered in the direction of social inclusion through the enhancement of the youth engagement, the promotion of gender equality and the development of local resources. The vulnerability of the human being towards the challenges and changes that they are facing urges an education in social inclusion and common good upon everyone. Pedagogical reflection and approaches, as well as business contexts, are therefore called to rethink and design new ways to empower the growth of responsible and conscious citizens able to build inclusive communities in order to promote and protect the common good.
