Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contemporary nature of the educational challenges related to the school and work inclusion of young people cannot be separated from the commitment to guide students in life, preparing citizens as active protagonists of their future, for personal and collective benefit. It is in this interpretative framework that, in the current debate on young people, training and the future, the theme of sustainability emerges as a possible significant framework within which to frame new educational practices aimed at acquiring those learnings deemed fundamental for employability, social inclusion, respect for the environment and life in its relationship complexity. Educating the younger generations on the issue of sustainability implies identifying learning environments that are able to encourage the acquisition of those knowledge deemed useful for a positive approach to present and future challenges.
