Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the months of the pandemic that we have experienced, we have seen how a moral attitude that disproportionately emphasizes the dimension of control in an attempt to achieve a greater sense of "security", both on a personal and social level, has proved unable to maintain its promises and, above all, how - lately - it cannot constitute an adequate horizon of our life and of our co-living. The tragic circumstance of the pandemic contributes to raising questions that we thought were now overcome, as they perhaps belong to another era and another context, but which - instead - reveal themselves, especially today, to be powerful allies of our life: which are the indispensable goods of our life, both personal and associated? What are the loves that deserve our fidelity?
