Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The European Convention on Human Rights and the jurisprudence of the Court of Strasbourg are today increasingly perceived as an integral part of the law that the criminal and preventive courts are called to apply every day, in their capacity as "first guarantors" of conventional rights. . From the lawyer's point of view, on the other hand, the European Convention on Human Rights and its interpretation can today prove to be valuable tools during criminal proceedings, to solicit the overcoming of established interpretative practices and / or the formulation of questions. of constitutional legitimacy. This new edition of the volume systematically illustrates the Court's jurisprudence relating to the relevant treaty provisions in the criminal field, taking into account the important changes that have taken place since 2016.
