Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] This collective work is the result of an interdisciplinary reflection that takes public space and violence as an object of study. In addition to being a multidisciplinary book, it has the contributions of specialists from various countries who participate in various research projects obtained by participating in competitive calls of recognized prestige. In this sense, the volume is the result of a close collaboration that has lasted for two years and which, at this moment, is being offered to the public with the aim of giving visibility to the rigorous work that made it possible. The ultimate goal of this publication is to fill an editorial gap. In recent years, the various social and human knowledge have paid particular attention to violent phenomena, but they have not always achieved adequate communication between the disciplines involved in their study.
