Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Before his conversion, Manzoni was the author of a few works, almost all of which remained unpublished, but very well known to a small circle of friends, which already earned him fame as a poet even then. Among them, the longest is the Triumph of Liberty. In it there are ideologems and stylistic features that will act for a long time in the mind of Manzoni, who will later take them up in his works by correcting them (converting them), with a significant feedback effect on the importance to be attributed to the early poem.
Before his conversion, Manzoni is an author of few works, almost all unpublished, which already earned him the fame of a poet. The longest of these works is the Triumph of Liberty. In this poem we can find ideological values and writing-styles that will act for a long time in Manzoni's mind, who in later works will resume and correcting (id est, converting) them, producing a significant feedback effect on the importance to be assigned to the Triumph of Liberty itself.
