Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In this essay, we will analyze "a simple heart" by Gustave Flauber based on Umberto Eco's concept of cooperation between text and reader. We will focus in particular on the role that the title plays in the path of the model reader, at three levels: discursive level, narrative level and ideological level. We will thus try to demonstrate the importance of the title for the realization of the sound and the deep intentions of the work.
