Abstract
Viktor Frankl's existential analysis and logotherapy contains important and pioneering intuitions regarding the process of grief and personal growth. This contribution aims to explain the biographical, theoretical and methodological roots of this thought, in order to demonstrate its similarity with some of the most recent approaches to helping people in the process of grief and bereavement.
