Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The main idea of this volume, in continuity with the first one published in 2013, is to analyze the state of the art of the implementation of the network contract 15 years after its introduction and an impact assessment of the use of the tool for the benefit of the competitiveness of Italian SMEs and territories. The volume is based on the studies and research of the Authors who have dealt with the topic in the last decade and on other official statistical sources supported by a field survey carried out ad hoc on the occasion of the drafting of the book whose contents have been addressed from different economic, legal and managerial perspectives. The volume is aimed at both an audience that carries out research activities in the academic and institutional field and at entrepreneurs, managers and professionals interested in activating or participating in network contracts. Among the main topics covered in the book are highlighted: • the assessments of the undoubtedly positive effects on the economy, in the territories and in the companies produced by participation in the network contract in a continuously changing geo-economic scenario; • the legal profiles of the contract with particular regard to the rarity of the jurisprudential rulings mostly in the field of labor law, which could mean a relevance of the instrument to avoid disputes between the participants in the network; • the governance systems adopted, the main problems and difficulties encountered and the solutions adopted for a correct use of the instrument as well as the competence profiles required for the new network managers/coordinators.
