Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article, based on unpublished documents of the Sforzesco Fund preserved in the ASMi, reconstructs the activity of the Captains of the prohibition during the Sforza domination, above all in relation to the activity of smuggling of cereals and salt between the duchy of Milan and that one of Savoy, on the border area determined by the course of the Sesia river.
