Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The misunderstandings of the Istrian grammarian Giovanni Moise with regard to historical grammar show the change of paradigm introduced by the new linguistic science at the end of the nineteenth century. On the other hand, a grammatical work like his can still be useful, as shown in the documentation available in Moise regarding the history of sentences split into Italian.
