[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution reviews the historical evolution of the advisory structure, focusing on the characteristics of the Christian-inspired clinic. It is important to focus attention on three specific elements: the anthropological choice, the aspects of structure, the elements of content. The author also intends to indicate a model of consultancy both public and private that proves to be able to constitute itself as an effective element of guide, beyond any claim of homologation and debasement of the originality of the single advisory organisms operating in different territorial realities. It is appropriate that each counseling center, in referring to the general model outlined, should try to adapt it in a valid way to the human, cultural and geographical reality with which it interacts on a daily basis.
