Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The institutional structure of the "Societas" is studied, its evolution within the municipal political system, its relations with the Visconti lordship. Furthermore, the matriculation of the second half of the fourteenth century is analyzed, as well as the families of the Monza merchants dedicated to international trade, and their distinctive symbols.
