Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The new generations live surrounded by new technologies and the virtual reality that characterizes them. This tendency, although positive, is contributing to the determination of a poor aptitude for the management of interpersonal and social relationships, giving less and less self-awareness. Failure to use your body, in fact, prevents you from developing self-control, perceptions and, last but not least, from experiencing the satisfaction that derives from them. From an educational point of view, there may be effective didactic, psycho-pedagogical tools to balance this gap. The approach to motor and recreational-sport disciplines lends itself better to supporting the new generations in the tortuous path of acquiring self-awareness and the relationship with the real and tangible reality that surrounds them. Sport climbing, in particular, is a discipline that has all these elements in it. The game-sport climbing first and sport climbing then, in fact, are not only pleasant activities that put the individual in contact with the environment that surrounds him, but - more importantly - they force the individual who practices them to make them direct experience. All this promotes the development of balance, understood as the ability to dose forces, energies and concentration according to different situations, experiencing the pleasure of controlling the body, mind and emotions useful in daily life.
