Abstract

Unfair competition and parasitism are not necessarily the same thing. Copying is but one mechanisms of progress. Unfair copying is qualified by the actions, not by the effect. The popular version of the unfair competition is a distortion that should be corrected. The property pattern is unable to capture the nature of the market rules, that are not concerned with attribution of rights but with the behaviour of market operators.
