Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In recent years, the CT segment has been characterized by a proliferation of channels and operators, confirming itself as one of the most dynamic and expanding segments of the television market. From a quantitative point of view, the systemic offer of this television genre has never been so abundant. At the same time, precisely in relation to such large and significant transformations, there have been, in some national contexts (for example the United Kingdom) voices worried about the future of the CT and cries of alarm in its defense. These concerns highlight a sort of "crisis of growth": with a high number of channels, there is not an equally high availability of investments or editorial content
