Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] To contain irregular migratory flows and avoid personal tragedies, policies must be able to address the sense of urgency that invades young people, offering them concrete alternatives. Research suggests that offering jobs and business start-up finance can be a good strategy to reduce migration.
This type of immediate support must be accompanied by wide-ranging long-term interventions both at a central and territorial level.
