Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The phenomenon of scholastic dispersion and formative failure should be a priority on the political agenda: if it is true that society aims at progressing, it cannot afford to leave behind unfortunately relevant percentages of its human capital - and therefore of its own future. The school cannot be left to fend for itself to solve a problem of this size and relevance. As the book shows, we need to tackle the issue in an innovative way, urging an alliance between all the subjects involved in various capacities - school operators, children, families, other educational agents up to political subjects - because effective intervention methodologies they can be experimented and are able, slowly, to trigger a significant change in the organizational structure and in the same cultural imprint of the school. The scholastic dispersion is faced upstream, in the way of structuring the school, rather than downstream, when it already happens.
