Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The various contexts of life are marked by a high degree of unpredictability that, at times, can reach disturbing and challenging levels capable of disorienting and destabilizing the routine of everyday life. This uncertainty undermines the rational certainties of contemporary man, undermining the foundations at the basis of every life project, hindering the possibility of planning and governing surrounding events with precision. In this sense, it seems appropriate to recall the most recent events that have upset the cultural, political, psychological and social structures such as, for example, the consequences deriving from global warming and, more generally, from ongoing climate changes (floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, inundations, etc.), but also the challenges themselves deriving from health emergencies (Covid-19 pandemic), geopolitical crises and related migratory and/or war phenomena, with consequent impact on the various communities, economic systems and resource management models. Last but not least, it is necessary to consider the risks associated with the digital society such as, for example, cyber attacks or Big Data management, which have a large-scale impact (health, transportation, threats to the person, etc.). This work aims to examine, in particular, the aspects connected to those conditions of risk and emergency that arise from traumatic events which, suddenly bursting into people's lives, determine consequences of such magnitude (mourning, illness, loss of property, economic disruption and loss of one's social and cultural roots) as to determine a drastic existential turning point in one's existence. This situation is particularly complex when people with disabilities are involved. It is therefore necessary to ask ourselves what are the most appropriate educational strategies to adopt and what training courses to propose to rescue personnel who, in various capacities, are called upon to intervene in similar situations.
