Abstract
Definitions are a crucial component of the semantic area of lexicographic entries. The senses of words related to the discourse of political movements and political parties are often defined by means of expressions that reveal positive or negative attitudes towards the political ideas considered in the definition itself. This strategy is used by the lexicographer to take account of widespread socio-cultural attitudes.
