Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution considers the episcopal commissions in Milan in the Ottonian and proto-Romanesque period, with particular reference to the presbytery and the decoration of the apse of S. Ambrogio, to the Prayer Book of Archbishop Arnolfo II and to the works promoted by Ariberto da Intimiano.
