Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the context of the important commissions that qualify Lombard medieval artistic production, the little-known and fragmentary decoration of the shrine of San Lino in Milan is analyzed, probably wanted by the Archbishop Arderico (936-948): it would constitute a significant precedent for some solutions adopted from Lombard Romanesque painting.
