Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The Lombardy Region, with Regional Law 23/99 "Regional Policies for the Family", was the first Italian region to have wanted to associate an explicit recognition of family associations, including the creation of an ad hoc registry, called "Registry of family solidarity associations ". The article contains the data of a research on the associations registered in the Registry, making an examination of the strengths and weaknesses of this instrument of recognition and promotion of family associations
