Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Dung of the devil or hope in a better life, nothing like money lends itself to opposing judgments. For some it corrupts everything, for others it is an instrument of freedom and emancipation. It is not just about the war between good and bad. Something of his restless soul is reflected in conflicts: money is both sacred and profane, omnipotent and powerless, being and having, just and unjust, generous and indifferent. Average of all things, between people themselves, but in the end it destroys everything and only exchanges itself. Franco Riva keeps his distance from the rhetoric of one type and another, and with brilliant and insistent writing he brings into focus the contradictions and possibilities of money.
